Donation protectedOur dream is to open our very own Board Game Lounge in Salt Lake City, Utah. It's where you'll go when you want to meet new friends, need a girl's night out, or a first date! A low-pressure safe space for the community to make connections & have fun.
I started Comfy Cozy Games because I kept showing up to board game social spaces that did not feel welcoming, especially as an introvert & a woman.
Nearly 40 events later, the dream has only grown. We are working toward opening Utah’s first board game lounge, a permanent home for this community. A space with cozy lighting, curated games. Just a beautiful intentional place that says you belong here to everyone who walks through the door.
This fund is the first major step toward that dream.

Utah does not have anything like this yet. There are board game stores that sell board games with a focus on Magic or DND. I’m building a space designed specifically for women, introverts, LGBTQ+ individuals & anyone who has ever felt unwelcome in traditional gaming or social spaces. This fund is not the finish line. It's the proof that this community is ready, this dream is real & Utah needs this space.

Cozy, cute & colorful!
Every aspect of the space will be intentional, adorably eclectic & welcoming. Cozy lighting. hand-picked games, furniture & calm atmosphere.
Food & Drinks
We are working with a small local business who specializes in cafe style offerings for everyone as well as gluten-free, vegan options.
Themed Events
We specialize in hosting unique game nights & our calendar will be full of fun new events! Each time you visit will be a new experience.
Lounge Admission
There will be a cover fee, just like a movie night or similar entertainment spaces. Admission has no time limit & includes unlimited access to our game library & hosts who can find, teach & set up games for you.
Community Room
A dedicated room to host events, game nights, birthday celebrations, small local women owned business who need a place for their community workshops & events.
Board Games & Merchandise
We will have a limited in store library for our players to buy, our focus is our community library. Supporting other game stores is important to us, so we will partner with local game stores for local purchases not in store & member discount options.
